opening sequence 2

The two following clips are opening sequences from two different films that both have a different approach to how their opening sequences. Firstly link above is to a film called 'The dead zone' from the look of the opening sequence it is for a thriller. I was able to tell this by the music playing in the background, the main colour of the scene is gloomy, dull and grey; both of those things hint toward the genre of the movie.

The next link that I will post is about a film that is a the opposite of the thriller which is a romantic comedy called 'The back up plan'. Straight away we can see the different between the two clip. One of the main differences is that the overal colour of the two openeing sequences are different where 'The dead zone' is dark 'The back up plan' is happy with bright fun colours ect. also the music is very upbeat which also adds to what the film will be like throughout.
